Our 4% donations to The Appalachian Trail Conservancy to help support the A.T. Resiliency Fund and Helene Recovery Efforts.
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s Appalachian Trail Resiliency Fund (ATRF) was launched in the wake of Hurricane Helene, the largest natural disaster in the Trail’s history, to accelerate cleanup, rebuild infrastructure, restore the landscape, and support affected trail-town communities. The ATRF supports three core priorities: rebuilding the Trail’s infrastructure, restoring the Trail’s surrounding ecosystems and climate resilience, and reconnecting A.T. Communities that were impacted in states like North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia. In the aftermath of Helene, more than 800 miles of the Trail were impacted and about 430 miles were closed for safety, but through volunteer efforts, professional crews, and the ATRF-supported mobilization, nearly the entire Trail was reopened within months and work continues to build resilience for the future.
