Supporting Southern Nevada’s Public Lands Amid Unprecedented Visitation
With 2.3 million residents and over 40 million annual visitors, Southern Nevada’s public lands are facing record-breaking visitation. This surge presents significant challenges for the preservation of natural and cultural resources. As the on-site nonprofit partner for federally-managed lands, Southern Nevada Conservancy works to alleviate this pressure by raising funds to support critical services that are often mistakenly thought to be tax-funded.
Our 4% donation went directly towards efforts that enrich visitor experiences, from introducing local students to the region’s history and science to inspiring responsible stewardship of these fragile landscapes.
Our impact so far:
- 11,000 lbs of litter removed
- 6,500 trees planted
- 737 educational programs delivered
- 36,928 participants engaged
- 1,465 volunteers contributing
Together, we are protecting Nevada’s public lands for future generations!
