Our 4% donations contributed toward aiding the Theodore Roosevelt Nature and History Association (TRNHA) with acquiring hardware like a ruggedized tablet and calibrated camera to support documentation of the South Unit Loop Road Reconstruction in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
Theodore Roosevelt National Park would supply all software, computer, and field expertise to collect the necessary data using the equipment provided by Theodore Roosevelt Nature and History Association.
Data captured with the requested equipment will allow the National Park Service to complete comprehensive documentation off all stone masonry features along the roadway corridor while under construction. In addition, future uses of the equipment would allow for high resolution 3D point cloud capture of park facilities thereby increasing the park’s ability to efficiently plan for future construction projects.
