Immersing children in our open spaces creates a bond with nature that lasts a lifetime. Wild Tribute is partnering with the Crater Lake Natural History Association to enhance the Junior Ranger program at Crater Lake National Park for just that reason.
There’s a number of little one’s running around our lives each day here at Wild Tribute. They’re the best excuse we’ve got for punching out a few hours early and getting outside. When it comes to visiting our park system, you just introduce them to the Junior Ranger program and the kids take it from there. Each time they study and complete the book, then take the oath from a real National Park Service Ranger, they receive a new badge to display proudly. It’s something we get to treasure both while it happens, and years later as we clean out a closet and come across our kids’ badge collection.
