Discover Your Northwest

Wild Tribute’s dedication to preserving our National Parks and treasured open spaces includes our nation’s waterways as well. This year, our donation to the Discover Your Northwest Foundation went towards educating the public about how vital it is for salmon to successfully migrate through the Ballard Locks Fish Ladder in Seattle.

The Ballard Locks Fish Ladder viewing gallery was built back in 1976 and hosts over 1.2 million visitors a year.  With this infrastructure project, Discover Your Northwest is focused on raising funds to work closely with the Army Corps of Engineers and initiate an upgrade to the current site.  This will ensure that the scores of visitors, especially the school field trip crowd, will have a vivid and fulfilling educational experience for years to come.
