Western National Parks Association's Pool of Research

Our 4% donations contributed to the general pool of research initiatives that the Western National Parks Association support within their footprint of partner parks.

Learn more about WNPA's partner parks here. A sampling of such research initiatives is summarized below:

  • Studying the behavior and ecology of the bleached lizard of the Salt Dunes in Guadalupe Mountains National Park
  • Document stories from American Indians who have ties to the El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro National Historic Trail near Chamizal National Memorial
  • Identify the causes and consequences of different patterns of resource use of two wood rat species whose ranges overlap in Great Basin National Park
