Bringing Back the Condors to Redwood National Park

Bringing Back the Condors to Redwood National Park

Through our 4 the Parks giveback program, in 2025 Wild Tribute supported Redwood Parks Conservancy and their work to help bring the California condor back to Redwood National Park. This ambitious effort is part of a long-term collaboration between Redwood National Park, Redwood Parks Conservancy, and the Yurok Tribe to reestablish a species that has been missing from Northern California’s skies for generations.

The initiative includes careful monitoring, habitat stewardship, and safeguards that ensure condors can return to the region safely. As part of this initiative, Redwood Parks Conservancy helps support specialized quarantine efforts that protect these endangered birds from threats such as avian flu before they are released into the wild. Each step is critical to rebuilding a healthy, stable condor population in one of the most iconic landscapes in the West.

Wild Tribute’s contribution helps strengthen this work by supporting on-the-ground teams and programs committed to restoring the ecological balance of Redwood National Park. To learn more about Redwood Parks Conservancy and the incredible work they champion, click here.

Our mission is 4 the Parks, and funding initiatives like this ensures that the next generation will be able to look up at the ancient redwoods and watch condors soar once again.
