In collaboration with the Grand Teton Association, our 4% donations helped fund programs such as Pure Vida and Mountains to Mainstreet. 4 the Parks and 4 the People!
Pura Vida is a youth program aimed to bring local Latinx youth to Grand Teton National Park. Participants will get exposure to outdoor recreational activities, learn leadership and environmental stewardship skills, and are encouraged to serve as leaders in connecting their community to Grand Teton National Park.
Mountains to Mainstreet is a young professional program in partnership with Grand Teton National Park and Groundwork USA. The ambassadors primarily come from urban areas and this program aims to help connect their community to a nearby National Park. We host ambassadors in a 1- week workshop to gain inspiration from a place like Grand Teton National Park, develop a program they will take and implement in their community, and establish relationships within this new support network. Once they have led their event in their communities, we host a symposium where they walk us through the experience and present key highlights.
