Supporting the National Wildlife Refuge System
Our 4% donation initiative sponsored the Public Lands Alliance's Walk for the Wild Amplifier Fund to support the National Wildlife Refuge System.
The event is a national program administered by the Public Lands Alliance (PLA) that activates National Wildlife Refuge nonprofits across the country to host walking events and raise funds to support their work. This free event invites everyone to explore nature and experience national wildlife refuges. PLA provides the branding and the online donation platform, and also leverages donations raised by participating nonprofit "Teams" through the Amplifier Fund's supplemental matching grant.
Public Lands Alliance
The Public Lands Alliance is on a mission to connect public lands partners not only to agency leaders and socially conscious corporations but also to one another in a vibrant peer network. They strengthen their community through targeted education, training and other capacity building programs. And, they represent their members' interests with elected officials and policy makers.
