Our 4% donations helped support the Glacier National Park Conservancy's efforts to preserve cultural Sites within Glacier's designated wilderness.
This project employs two tribal interns in addition to two seasonal archaeological technicians to follow-up on leads concerning previously unknown cultural sites. These resources are increasingly reported by guests seeking wilderness solitude and are threatened by trammeling and possible collection. Year one of this study will focus on vulnerable wilderness locations with suspected prehistoric associations.
