Our 4% donations went toward the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance's K-12 Stewards Education initiatives.
K12 Education program teaches kids how to be good stewards, while giving them a hands-on role in habitat restoration. Specifically, this includes Gulf Sturgeon education campaign that will involve additional water quality monitoring sites, public outreach about the importance of these threated charismatic (kinda!) megafauna, kid’s curriculum based on the Sturgeon’s journey from the freshwater to the Gulf, and citizen scientist sturgeon monitoring network.
