Park Rangers are paid in sunrises and sunsets, but there are numerous under-appreciated facets of the job that are just darn tough. For instance, a Park Ranger's role as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer carries the every day typical dangers and challenges of peers in the "city" that are compounded with the unique characteristics of pubic lands (e.g., remote, limited resources, tourism, wildlife, etc.). It’s easy to take this critical role in our Parks for granted.
In partnership with Capitol Reef Natural History Association, Wild Tribute’s 4 the Parks donations helped refurbish the Park’s law enforcement rifles while providing the means to purchase triage kits for crowd emergencies. Safety first!
