More Recreational Facilities Around Zion NP

Visitation to Zion National Park has soared in recent years. On most days, parking, camping, and general access are overwhelmed. As the park reaches capacity, visitors seek recreational opportunities on surrounding public lands that lack the proper facilities to support similar levels of use.

Plans to develop an additional 200 campsites on current BLM land adjacent to Zion are in the works thanks to a robust, collaborative effort between community leaders and Local, State, and Federal land managers, including the Zion Forever Project's leadership team. Funding requests for such an endeavor with the number of constituents involved requires formal planning. Wild Tribute's 4 the Parks donations have helped mitigate the costs of these efforts.
