Helped Rebuild Hawaii Volcanoes NP

After being closed for 135 days (that's 4+ months), Hawaii Volcanoes National Park finally re-opened after Kilauea volcano’s latest eruption in May 2018, which caused widespread damage to park infrastructure and dramatically changed its landscape. To add insult to injury, the subsequent Government Shutdown did not help matters as Park officials continue to work towards a returned semblance of normality.
