The Sperry Chalet in Glacier National Park has long been an icon of Glacier’s backcountry. Only accessed by foot or horseback, the Historic Landmark for years has served as a refuge for adventure, nostalgic comfort, and a portal into the heart of Glacier’s rich wilderness.
In 2017, the Sperry Chalet was lost to the destructive Sprauge Fire. A fund to resurrect the historic chalet was immediately established by the Glacier Conservancy and Wild Tribute’s 4 the Parks donations have since contributed to the rebuilding project, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
