Building electric vehicle chargers in Grand Teton National Park

Building electric vehicle chargers in Grand Teton National Park

Given the remote nature of Grand Teton National Park, it’s not hard to admit that there is a lack of diversity when it comes to fuel options.  But the increase in demand for Electric Vehicles brings this issue to light, and our National Parks are recognizing the long-term environmental impact this technology will have on the future of our treasured open spaces. This year, Wild Tribute decided to place a premium on this ecologically minded technology by funding the installation of and EV charging station in the park.  This plays true to our “together we can and will make a difference 4 The Parks” mantra.

Grand Teton Association (GTA), founded in 1937, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and has a long history of supporting education, interpretation and research initiatives of agency partners. GTA inspires deeper connection, better understanding, and enduring support for our public lands.
