Research Projects in Southeastern Utah

In partnership with Canyonlands Natural History Association, Wild Tribute's contribution to CNHA's Discovery Pool research projects in 2022 will help support:

  • Intensive studies into the Pueblo community within Bears Ears National Monument
  • Recovering fossil remains, from the Jurassic period, of small vertebrates such as lizards, dinosaurs and mammals
  • How the introduction of mountain goats in the Manti-La Sal National Forest, along with climate change, affects the pika population and the arthropod communities there

This important research helps public land partners plan for and manage the public lands of southeast Utah.
