“The Mountains are calling and I must go” The man. The myth. The legend. We present you John Muir, the father of the national parks. Muir was instrumental in the development of the national park system as he recognized the importance of preserving Americas most beautiful lands, just as they are, for generations to come. He preserved one of the crown jewels, the Yosemite Valley, and also founded the Sierra Club. As with all of our popular typography designs, the entire design is made of words…with this one, all things are “John Muir” including many of his famous quotes such as “Going to the mountains is going home” and “In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks”
